Bible Reading Notes—Step 2: Weeks 2–3

These notes are for use with the Bible Reading Planner, a convenient way of planning your daily reading.

The plan will give you a chapter to read every day for a year, giving you an overview of the whole Bible and its message.

Step 2

Step 2 covers two weeks – one in the Old Testament, and one in the New Testament. As you read, look out for connections between the Old and New Testaments; the Bible is not two separate books but one, with a consistent message from the one, unchanging God.

  • Week 2 Genesis chapters 2 to 8
  • Week 3 Matthew chapters 1 to 7
